IHG released a brand refresh requirement for all Crowne Plaza fitness centers. Due to this Crowne Plaza’s previous square footage an adjacent meeting room was added to the space to create a more functional and compliant fitness center. New flooring, entry (doors and sidelights), lighting, paint, wallcoverings, fitness equipment and millwork were added. We also raised the ceiling, removed walls, redirected the HVAC vents and changed the switching of the electrical in which I coordinated with the contractor and hotel staff.
